Within this lab, we are experimenting with different knitting techniques with the aim of creating breathable textiles that respond to the body’s activity.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p1\"\u003eUsing solution-dyed nylon yarns on Shima machines with an 18-gauge fineness, we developed knitted panels that are then cut and sewn using three-needle flatlock seams.
